Create an iconic look with Joe, Barton Perreira's angular James Bond 007 sunglasses, as seen in No Time To Die (2020). The signature style in the limited edition 007 collection, Joe has been reimagined for James Bond himself. Handmade, boldly angular acetate frames create a disarming silhouette, while rectangular mineral glass lenses offer a cool, intrepid look and feel. As seen in the latest trailer, Joe is engineered with striking precision and handcrafted details only a secret agent would expect.
Details. Barton Perreira believe that every pair of glasses should fit as perfectly as a well-tailored piece of clothing, and these limited edition frames are handmade in Japan by highly skilled craftsman, focused on perfecting every detail. Bold, yet lightweight black acetate frames create a pronounced silhouette, while square, vintage grey glass lenses give a masculine feel. Hand-engraved cross hatching grazes the temples.
The handmade frame is built from zylonite acetate containing metal core wiring to provide a skeletal foundation with supreme comfort and a flexible fit. The signature lightweight feel of the sunglasses is due to the resin-based polymer plastic used. Zylonite is tumbled for several days before being hand polished twice to create a seamlessly smooth surface. This material selection and uncompromising process results in a light, durable product with a deep gloss finish. The sunglasses are finished with 007 inscribed temples and come with a limited edition 007 case and cleaning cloth.
Dimensions. Eye size 52mm, bridge size 20mm, temple length 148mm
