Backstory. As the second film in the series, From Russia With Love cemented James Bond as one of cinema’s most popular characters. In the movie, SPECTRE seeks revenge for the death of its agent Dr. No. Bond is drawn into a plot overseen by former Russian head of operations for SMERSH, agent Rosa Klebb, forcing 007 to defend himself against assassin Red Grant in ferocious hand-to-hand combat aboard the Orient Express.

Details. The coin’s design depicts a coloured illustration of Sean Connery as James Bond. Based on an official movie poster, the design also features coloured sketches representing scenes from the movie, with the iconic gun barrel graphic, the famous 007 gun logo and the title. The other side bears the Ian-Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a 007 acrylic display case within a From Russia With Love box, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity featuring poster artwork.

The makers. The Perth Mint is official mint of Australia and is wholly owned by the Government of Western Australia. The mint manufactures and distributes platinum, silver and gold coins for collectors and customers worldwide.

Please note: We recommend keeping your coin within its protective display housing at all times. If touched or left exposed to the air, the freshly minted precious metal will react to atmospheric dust and moisture, as well as oils and acids in the skin, leaving marks that cannot be removed. We cannot be held responsible if this happens. If you do choose to handle your coin, always wear gloves and hold it by its edges.
