A stand-out precious coin for any collector or Bond fan. The Perth Mint celebrates 50 years since the release of Diamonds Are Forever with the James Bond Diamonds Are Forever Diamond-studded 2oz Gold Coin.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 2oz of 99.99% pure gold with two hand set white diamonds, made to order in a maximum mintage of 70.

Backstory. In the film Bond tracks, SPECTRE boss Blofeld to the US where he discovers his evil nemesis is stockpiling diamonds to power a space-based laser weapon. 007 must neutralise the satellite and prevent SPECTRE from carrying out its threat to global stability.

Details. The coin is made from 2oz of 99.99% pure gold with two hand placed white diamonds, each weighing 0.08ct. The coin is embellished with the Bond family crest and motto along with the number 50. It is presented in a limited edition wooden display box with gold metal hinges, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Each coin is made to order in a maximum mintage of 70 and is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu. 

The makers. The Perth Mint is the official mint of Australia and is wholly owned by the Government of Western Australia. The mint manufactures and distributes platinum, silver and gold coins for collectors and customers worldwide.
