The James Bond Silver Proof Coin Set - Roger Moore Numbered Edition by The Perth Mint features an individual 1oz and seven 1/2oz coins issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

Backstory.  This collection celebrates Roger Moore’s seven James Bond films released between 1973 and 1985. Setting a new tone for the iconic agent, Moore’s portrayal was as debonair as it was dangerous, often with a deadly sense of humour. 

Details. Gilded in 24-carat gold, the proof quality 1oz coin’s reverse portrays a sepia-toned image of Roger Moore in a classic Bond pose. The design includes inscriptions of his seven film titles and the 007 gun logo. The coin’s gilded obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date. Also included in the collection are seven 0.5oz releases marking Roger Moore’s portrayal of James Bond in Live AndLet Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, and A View To A Kill. The obverse of each coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2021 year-date. Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the collection is housed in a James Bond themed eight-coin display case.
