James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Model Car With Ejector Seat - Goldfinger 60th Anniversary Edition - By Corgi

Pay attention 007! The James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Model Car With Ejector Seat - Goldfinger 60th Anniversary Edition - by Corgi is an updated remake of the 1965 and 1968 original toys. For 2024, the 261 arrives in the iconic Silver Birch paint finish of the real car for the first time ever. Indisputably the most famous Corgi product releases of all time, this 2024 recreation is released to mark the 60th anniversary of the film and has all the original features, including a replica box, all in mini 1:46 scale.

Backstory. James Bond and the Aston Martin DB5 Model have gone hand-in-hand for decades - from Goldfinger to the present day. When launched in 1965 seven weeks before Christmas, Corgi sold three-quarters of a million of the model, causing stocks to completely run out by Christmas Day. It went on to sell just under four million. The gold version was re released to celebrate 60 years of the Bond film series, and this new model is launched to celebrate the film's 60th anniversary.

Details. Both an iconic car and an iconic toy, this newly tooled version of the classic 261 Aston Martin DB5, features all the legendary action features of the original, including the working ejector seat, pop up rear bullet shield and spring out over-riders and machine guns. The 1:46 scale model features a retractable bullet proof rear shield, extending front over-riders, pop-out machine guns, and, of course, a functioning passenger ejector seat. It comes in a recreation of the original packaging from the very first Corgi No. 261 release from 1965.
