Globe-Trotter pays homage to 007's global assignments with the James Bond Carry-On Trolley Case in grey and navy.
Backstory. Bond’s sartorial style has been a characteristic of the 007 film franchise for decades; from his tailored suits to his classic cars, from his watches to the luggage accompanying him when travelling around the world.
Details. This carry-on suitcase is the ideal companion for one, two, three nights away. And being accepted by most airlines in the cabin, it’ll never need to leave your side. A classic navy drop-in lining covers the inside of each case and features a co-branded leather patch in between the webbing straps. Each case displays the 007 logo on the exterior in the form of a branded plaque fixed between the side handle as well as an embossing across each leather top handle.
Dimensions. H55cm, W40cm, D21cm, capacity 34l, weight 4.2kg
The makers. Established in 1897, Globe-Trotter suitcases and travel accessories are handcrafted in Hertfordshire, England by highly skilled artisans using original manufacturing methods and machinery that date back to the Victorian era. The 007 cases are made to order from panels of vulcanised fibreboard: a unique material invented in Britain during the 1850s that is as strong as leather and as light as aluminium. Each sheet is moulded into shape using a method patented by the company in 1901, while the case’s black leather corners are moulded on Victorian press machines over a period of five days to ensure optimum strength and form.
