"SHEER MAGNETISM, DARLING"
Roger Moore’s first outing as Bond was a memorable one. LIVE AND LET DIE (1973) introduced us to Mr. Big, Dr. Kananga, Baron Samedi and Solitaire, and covered the occult, opiates and a record-breaking speed boat chase through the Louisiana bayou. Filming began in 1972 and Moore brought his natural style to the role, climaxing in this iconic outfit: a fine black roll neck, immaculately cut black slacks and shoulder holster. Get the sweater now in the exclusive N.Peal 007 Cashmere Collection, now in store.VIEW
THE DEAD ARE ALIVE
Spectre (2015). At the heart of the Day of the Dead crowd, 007 is undercover in a full skull mask and costume. The look has become iconic. The mask was created by the film’s costume designer Jany Temime, whose challenge was to make Bond recognisable while wearing it. She did this by sculpting to the actor’s face and giving it an articulated lower jaw to ensure better movement and expression. Jany also supervised the creation of a numbered series of 500 life-size mask replicas, now available for pre-order in store, despatching in November priced £349.view
