James Bond 0.5g 2021 Gold Coin In Presentation Card - By The Perth Mint

The James Bond Gold Coin By The Perth Mint is a bonus coin within the James Bond 25 coloured coin series. Struck by The Perth Mint from 0.5g of 99.99% pure gold, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu. Made in an unlimited series, the coin is presented in a special edition James Bond collector's card and makes an ideal gift.

Backstory. The 007 gun logo was designed by Joseph Caroff under Creative Director David Chasman of United Artists. Together with the franchise’s signature opening sequence, which portrays Bond at the centre of a stylised gun barrel at the beginning of every film, the 007 gun logo has become synonymous with the character.

Details. The coin’s reverse portrays the iconic Bond 007 gun logo and the name James Bond. The obverse of the coin bears the Ian-Rank Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021-year date, weight and purity, and monetary
denomination. The coin is issued with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and fits inside the first Bond 25 coin presentation folder.

Dimensions. 11.6mm x 1mm

The makers. The Perth Mint is Australia's official bullion mint and is wholly owned by the Government of Western Australia. The mint manufactures and distributes platinum, silver and gold coins for collectors and customers worldwide.

Please note: We recommend keeping your coin within its protective display housing at all times. If touched or left exposed to the air, the freshly minted precious metal will react to atmospheric dust and moisture, as well as oils and acids in the skin, leaving marks that cannot be removed. We cannot be held responsible if this happens. If you do choose to handle your coin, always wear gloves and hold it by its edges.
