Introducing the James Bond 60th Anniversary Bear By Steiff, a handcrafted collector's bear created in a numbered series of just 1,962.

Dressed in Bond's iconic dinner jacket, dress shirt and bow tie, the bear celebrates the anniversary of 007's first adventure, Dr. No, in 1962. He is made using traditional methods in Steiff's German workshop and features a gold-plated Steiff button in his ear, showing his unique number. 

Details. The James Bond Bear is made in a limited edition of 1,962 pieces. Wearing a tailored black cotton dinner jacket, white buttoned shirt and black bow tie, he has brown fur upper and black fur legs with a 60th Anniversary embroidery on one foot. He features a gold-plated Steiff button in ear, bearing his individual number, five swivel joints, so that you can move his arms, legs and head, along with safety eyes. The bear comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity within a special James Bond presentation box. 

His fur outer is made of 49% finest sustainable mohair certified by Control Union Cert 881601 and 51% cotton, and he is stuffed with synthetic filling material. Mohair, from the wool of the angora goat, was used for the first teddy bear ever created. The fibre is beautiful and durable, keeping it condition for a lifetime.

About the maker.Founded in 1880, Steiff invented the Teddy bear in 1902. This was the world's first bear with moveable arms and legs and is the basis of the bear today.
