Its boxy shape, wide grille and practical, hard-working design made it a familiar sight on 1970s city roads, and its appearance in the film helped ground the action in a lively, real-world setting. 

Details. A replica of the classic 1970s era Big Apple cab in 1:32 scale. The slot car recreates the taxi’s look with clean detailing, from the front bumper guards to the roof-mounted taxi sign.
