The first in a series of 25 Bond coins, this officially licensed product celebrates Dr. No, the 1962 blockbuster that established one of the most successful film franchises of all time. Each coin in the Perth Mint’s James Bond official 25-coin collection has a fully coloured design and celebrates a particular movie. These unique James Bond collectables depict images from the original posters and are struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver. Issued as Tuvalu legal tender, the coins have a maximum mintage of 12,007 each.
Backstory. As the first film in the series, Dr. No immediately established James Bond as one of cinema’s most recognisable characters. The coin features Joseph Caroff’s classic 007 gun logo and the gun barrel design, alongside Bond and Ursula Andress in her iconic white bikini.
Details. The coin’s design portrays a sketched image of Bond in a classic pose with gun and figures from the film – all in colour. The other side bears the Ian-Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a 007 acrylic display case within a Dr. No box, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity featuring poster artwork.

Each coin in The Perth Mint’s James Bond Official 25-Coin Collection is an essential item of memorabilia for fans of the daring and charismatic Secret Service agent known as 007. With a coloured design, each limited mintage release celebrates one of Bond’s blockbuster movies beginning with the 1962 movie Dr. No and 1963 movie From Russia With Love.
Depicting images from the original movie posters, each coin is superbly struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver. Issued as Tuvalu legal tender, the coins have a maximum mintage of 12,007 each.
The face of each coin depicts colour washed elements from the film’s official movie poster. Designs also include the iconic gun barrel graphic from the franchise’s signature opening sequence, the famous 007 gun logo and the official movie logo.
The obverse of each coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination and 2021 year-date.
Each coin is presented in a 007 branded case inside a themed shipper and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
