Introducing the James Bond Casino Royale 1/2 oz Silver Proof Coin by The Perth Mint.
Part of a series of 25 Bond coins, this officially licensed product celebrates Casino Royale, the 2006 blockbuster. Each coin in the Perth Mint’s James Bond official 25-coin collection has a fully coloured design and celebrates a particular movie. These unique James Bond collectables depict images from the original posters and are struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver. Issued as Tuvalu legal tender, the coins have a maximum mintage of 12,007 each.
Backstory. Taking us from Bond's first kill, to Madagascar, the Bahamas and onto the iconic game of cards at Montenegro's Casino Royale, the 21st film in the 007 franchise is the first of the Daniel Craig era.
Details. The coin’s design portrays a sketched image of Bond in a classic pose with gun – all in colour. The other side bears the Ian-Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a 007 acrylic display case within a box, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity featuring poster artwork.
