Backstory. Filmed in Mexico City, the pre-title scene is a thrill ride of colour, music and atmosphere. Bond and Estrella make their way through the streets filled with costumed revellers and stalls of skeletons and skulls out to celebrate the annual Day of the Dead.

Details. The coin’s design portrays a sketched image of Bond in a classic pose with gun against his Day of the Dead skull costume – all in colour. The other side bears the Ian-Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a 007 acrylic display case within a box, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity featuring poster artwork.

The makers. The Perth Mint is the official mint of Australia and is wholly owned by the Government of Western Australia. The mint manufactures and distributes platinum, silver and gold coins for collectors and customers worldwide.

Please note: We recommend keeping your coin within its protective display housing at all times. If touched or left exposed to the air, the freshly minted precious metal will react to atmospheric dust and moisture, as well as oils and acids in the skin, leaving marks that cannot be removed. We cannot be held responsible if this happens. If you do choose to handle your coin, always wear gloves and hold it by its edges.
