Meet the James Bond Musical Auric Goldfinger Teddy Bear - Numbered Edition by Steiff, the second in a series of 007 adversaries bears. Made in a series of just 1,964 pieces, the collector's bear captures the features and iconic style of the formidable, gold-obsessed industrialist.Celebrating the third film of the series on its 60th anniversary year, this unique bear is dressed in Goldfinger's classic golfing outfit and has a hidden secret... Steiff's unique internal wind-up musical box that plays the iconic Goldfingertheme tune. 

Backstory.  Rumours that Goldfinger has been smuggling gold ignite the interest of the British Secret Service and MI6 sends Bond to investigate. Bond infuriates Goldfinger by out-tricking him in a golf match and then follows him to his factory in Switzerland. There, Bond discovers that he has been smuggling gold from England in the body panels of his Rolls-Royce.

Details.  Crafted from long pile fur in the finest mohair, with an intense, slightly grumpy expression inspired by Auric. The upper body has golden yellow fur 'cardigan', complete with a neat cotton shirt collar and tie and a russet coloured flat cap. Goldfinger is embroidered onto one foot pad in gold thread, the other displays the musical notes of the film title song. Press it to hear the iconic Goldfinger song. He features a white tag Steiff button in his ear, five swivel joints, so that you can move his arms, legs and head, along with safety eyes and a brown nose. On his back is the musical mechanism. The bear comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity within a special presentation box.

Care. Carefully surface wash your bear with a damp cloth, taking care not to get him too wet. Do not wash, bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean.
