James Bond £5 Crown Brilliant Uncirculated Coin - 1970s Edition - by The Royal Mint

007 returns to The Royal Mint with a seven-coin journey through the decades celebrating the legacy of James Bond.

The James Bond £5 Crown Brilliant Uncirculated Coin - 1970s Edition by The Royal Mint is a celebration of the Bond films of the 1970s with a coin designed by award-winning design agency Bison Bison. The coin features 007 in the Wet Nellie Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me, accompanied by the '70s 007 logo.

Backstory. Perhaps the single most outlandish car Bond has driven, the iconic white Lotus Esprit is capable of transforming from surface driving to submersible operations underwater. Appearing in The Spy Who Loved Me, this heavily armed Q-branch vehicle is affectionately known as Wet Nellie.
