Details. Bollinger Special Cuvée is the Bollinger's flagship release and an iconic Champagne in every sense. Crafted from a majority of reserve wines, part of which have been aged in magnums for 5 to 15 years, Special Cuvée brings together a subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity, Biscuity and toasty on the nose, Special Cuvée suggests notes of toffee, orange peel, fresh pear, walnut and hazelnut. The Champagne is a pale golden colour, distinctive of black grape varieties, and has a velvety effervescence with tiny pin-prick bubbles - the hallmark of the very finest fizz.
