Backstory. Filmed in Mexico City, the pre-title scene is a thrill ride of colour, music and atmosphere. Bond and Estrella make their way through the streets, through costumed revellers and stalls of skeletons and skulls. They pass through the hotel entrance pasted with posters celebrating Día De Muertos (Day of the Dead), before ascending the stairs into the lobby.
